Abstract
This goal is to be achieved through the implementation of three specific goals:
1) to sensitize the congregation to the need for increased and more effective lay leadership participation in the structure and function of the modern Reform Synagogue, 2) to select and train competent, interested individuals wi1thin the congregation to develop the skills that will enable them to initiate and guide the development of two model groups, and will encourage others to be motivated and involved in congregational/communal strategies, 3) to initiate the process of reaching out to other specific identifiable groups arid individuals within the congregation.
